Dear Dr Rajput,
I hope that this finds you well. I am a researcher focusing on India and southern Asia for the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) in Geneva. IDMC is a not-for-profit organisation providing high-quality data, analysis and expertise on internal displacement with the aim of informing policy and operational decisions that can reduce the risk of future displacement and improve the lives of IDPs worldwide. I noticed with interest the recent publication of your book “Internal Displacement and Conflict: The Kashmiri Pandits in Comparative Perspective”, and was wondering if you might consider donating a copy to our organisation? We highly appreciate this timely research on an under-reported issue, and we would quote your book if we find it useful for our analysis.
Sincerely,

Hello Marta
Thank you for contacting me. I appreciate your interest in my recently published book.
For quite sometime I have been approaching IDMC to see if agency experts would request a complimentary copy from the publisher (Routledge) and write/post a book review. However, I have not been successful to-date. My request to IDMC always seems to be in the process of being ‘forwarded to IDMC expert’s, but I have not heard from anyone in the organization. Kindly contact me at sudha_rajput@yahoo.com
with gratitude
